This project involved fitting a single-story family home in Waipahu with a wall-mounted split AC system for the main living area, which had previously relied on fans and open windows.

Before any equipment was chosen, we walked the space to account for room size, ceiling height, window exposure, and how the family actually uses the room throughout the day. That informed the load calculation used to size the unit — oversizing leads to short-cycling and poor humidity control, while undersizing leaves the system straining in Hawaii's heat.

Installation included securing the indoor and outdoor units, running refrigerant and drainage lines, and completing the electrical connections. Once mounted, the system was tested for correct airflow, temperature drop, and drainage before we walked the homeowner through the remote and basic settings.
