This Kapolei townhome needed cooling in two separate areas — the living room and the primary bedroom — without running a large ducted system through a home that wasn't built for one.

A two-zone split system was the right fit: one outdoor condenser feeding two indoor units, each sized independently for its room. This let the homeowner run only the zone they need at a given time, rather than cooling the whole home at once.

Both indoor units and the shared outdoor condenser were installed, wired, and tested independently, with attention paid to keeping the outdoor unit's placement clear of the home's drainage path and prevailing airflow.
