Ahead of the warmer months, a Waipahu homeowner scheduled a filter and coil service on a single-zone unit that sees near-daily use.
The filter had visibly reduced airflow due to dust buildup, which forces a system to work harder to reach the same temperature. Both the filter and the coil behind it were cleaned thoroughly as part of the visit.
With the filter and coil cleaned, the system was tested to confirm improved airflow and cooling performance heading into the season when the unit would be relied on most.
